During the late 1950's and early 1960's, Zephyr Craddock watches the Jack La Lanne exercise show weekdays morning on TV. She had purchased the Jack La Lanne's Glamous-stretcher. LaLanne "Glamour Stretcher" is a strong rubber cord with a loop on each end. The loops are for holding the "Glamour Stretcher" with either the hands or feet. The instrution chart have 31 exercise for waist, bust, hips, thighs, neck, shoulders, upper arms, poature & back, and ankles & calves.
The first year, 130 half-hour LaLanne shows was shown on ESPN Classic starting April 1, 2004 at 10 am.
New York Times mention Mr. La Lanne, 91 (2005), recently started selling the Glamour Stretcher again at jacklalanne.com but February 20, 2008 check of web site shows no Glamour Stretcher amoung the produces sold at the web site.
